Rules Change Logs

Welcome to

PARADISE

Change date: 25/AUG/2024

Revised: Section about disconnecting/crashing from an active roleplay scenario (Rule 10)
  • Old: When a disconnect/crash occurs, players must make an effort to return or contact others involved. Players must report this on Paradise’s Discord server in #crash-reports channel. If they are unable to access Discord they must attempt to contact a member of staff via the forums or other players involved to inform them on their behalf.

  • New: When a disconnect/crash occurs, players will be contacted via our discord bot to inform them to use the command /gamecrash in our crash report channel of our main discord, which acknowledges the crash and will update the players in-game of the player's intent to return. Players must reconnect within 10 minutes of their crash regardless of acknowledgment, or a body will spawn at their disconnect with their active character's inventory, and the disconnected player will respawn at the nearest hospital with no items.

Reporting the crash in your state faction discord is not an accepted method of doing that unless those are the only people you're roleplaying with in that particular situation, and because of that, it's preferred that you use the bot if a message is received from it and/or report your crash manually in the main paradise discord #crash-reports channel by typing "c0 [description]" if all other methods fail.

  • Reasoning: Due to the new /gamecrash command and system being introduced, we have adjusted our disconnecting/crashing rule to provide more detailed information on how the system works. We also added info regarding our policy players informing within a faction discord instead of the main one.
